Using graphics
Use JPG, PCX, TGA, and TIF files in PCTeX.
Procedure
PCTeX's BMP commands support most popular bitmap graphic
formats as long as the files don't use LZW compression.
First, make sure you are in the PostScript rendering mode by
doing the following:
- From within PCTeX, access the Settings menu
- Select "Default Settings"
- Click on the Advanced tab
- Under "Method for rendering DVI," select PostScript
- Exit PCTeX, then re-launch PCTeX.
Next, find the BMP commands:
- Run PCTeX
- Pull down the Help menu
- Select "PCTeX Helper"
- In PCTeX Helper, select the Graphics menu
- Select BMP
