Is it okay to use directory names with spaces in PCTeXv5?
Yes, one of the new features of PCTeXv5 is that it bypasses problems in earlier PCTeX versions with directory names that contain spaces.
This means that PCTeXv5's program folder can be installed in C:\Program Files. Versions prior to version 5 could not be installed in directories with spaces in their names.
