Installation problems
- While installing you may see the following error
! LaTeX source files more than 5 years old!
- Reply 'Yes' to the PCTeX Error dialog. Then choose the Menu item Typeset>>IniTeX>>LaTeX and press the INITeX button. You may see another warning message but the LaTeX format will be built.
- The LaTeX system is stable and a version that is more than five years old will give good results. To get an up-to-date version do Help>Updates.
